Chair Massage on the Go in NYC

Events Chair Massage is the outreach program of the Catskills Bed & Breakfast in Stamford NY. We offer chair massage to small and large groups throughout the United States and to many conventions and trade shows at the Javits Center in NYC.

Do you ever have those days where every muscle in your body feels like it is tied up in knots?  You can’t move your legs without pain?  Your lower back hurts so much, you feel as if you carried a ton of lead up and down two flights of stairs by yourself?  Maybe your elbows and wrists are stiff with pain?  You feel as if you’re a hundred years old?  Every way you move you feel pain and you ask yourself, “what did I do to deserve this?”  Why you have been so afflicted?  Why has this plague of pain landed on you?   You think hard, but you can’t remember having done anything out of the ordinary to cause this agony.

With our National Chair Massage Company and our local affiliate the New York Chair Massage Company, you can gain increased productivity, reduced absenteeism, less stress, huge cost savings, and more effective and happier employees!

Touch is the first response we have when we need to heal.  What do you do when you bang your head?  You rub it. Healing touch is a key element to achieving and keeping good health.  If you are not being touched, hugged, massaged you are doing yourself a great disservice.

There is the old biblical saying that as you sow, so shall you reap.  Well if you neglect your essential emotional, spiritual, structural and nutrition needs long enough then you will reap the results. Over the years you may have developed poor health habits that are beginning to talk back to you.  When you feel aches, pains, stress, and other types of disease or impairment it is usually the body attempting to tell you that you ignored the message of the past and now it’s time to learn the lesson.  You’ve been doing something wrong and it’s time to do something right.

Our chair massage technique will help you in detecting specific imbalances in your clients, including information on what causes them these imbalances, and specific techniques for correcting them.

Many of us, before we became aware of the power of our own Chi to heal often saw disease as a purely physiological process to be treated without regard to the person in whom it existed.  Although many people have medicine to thank for being alive the overwhelming successes of medicine does not excuse its limitations.  When a person becomes ill, it is not merely a breakdown of the body but a disintegration of that person’s experience of life.  Discomfort, fear, and confusion predominate and a person can become dependent on others for his or her basic needs.  If medical treatment is successful, this only means that the body seems to have been “fixed”.  The emotional and spiritual upheaval that has taken place may not have been healed at all.  As we study alternative approaches to healing, especially those of Native American, African and Latin American medicine men (also known as Shamans), we all learn that there is tremendous healing power in touch through bodywork, massage, pressure and herbal oils.

In our onsite classes you will also be taught to create a healing environment and be given the tools needed to come in contact with what might be called “the light within us that heals.” Through learning about and making use of these tools you will discover how your healing abilities can evolve through the simple act of touching.
